The custom-made Backcountry Dropper Post Adapter allows Backcountry and Innovation Lab Saddle Packs to be used on mountain bike dropper seat posts. The adapter is designed to hold the pack securely, while also limiting travel to avoid damage to either the post or the bag.

The saddle bag dropper post adapter comes with a choice of shims for mountain bike dropper posts with 30.9mm, 31.6mm and 34.9mm lower diameters and is easily fitted using a 3mm hex wrench. The broad, flat rear section and ridged strap retainer improve stability over rough terrain and the dropper post saddle bag adapter is compatible with any bag that uses a 25mm seat post strap (or smaller).

The Backcountry Dropper Post Adapter is designed to work with mountain bike dropper posts with a 25mm or 26mm upper section diameter. These sizes are typical for posts with a 30.9mm, 31.6mm or 34.9mm lower section diameter.

We don’t do ‘seasons’, limited editions or discount our gear – we simply create the best possible technical bikepacking gear that’s built to last.

We strive to process and ship all orders in a timely manner, working diligently to ensure that your items are on their way to you as soon as possible. Please allow up to 7 business days for all orders and add an extra day for rural addresses and public holidays.

Please note, there will be no returns accepted for any used items, chamois shorts and all bikes. All returned items needs to be unused, in new condition, with all packaging/labels attached as delivered.
